Grandma Reta pointed out to us that there is a football team that started in 1905 with the mascot of a Bohemian Kangaroo. Given baby Roo's Wrbsky Czech-Bohemian heritage, this certainly caught our attention. We went searching for Bohemian names to see if we had any last minute ideas, and "Thistle" may or may not have made the list. As we are getting close to full-term, we're starting to look for good days for Roo to arrive. Given Grandma Wrbsky's propensity for Crazy Eights, I'm pulling for 8/8. It will be good because both mom and dad are anxious and it would be a good sign that Roo will be one heckuva card player... just like momma.
