After about 100 pictures*, they got what they needed: white background, eyes open, both ears (kind of) and no hands near the face. 
My gosh, this was more work than his newborn photo shoot.
*all 100 pictures were adorable but I guess that isn't a requirement of the government.
4-6 weeks until it arrives and this little man is ready to fly:
